The US has announced an aid of 30 million dollars for the flood victims of Pakistan.
According to the US embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan is deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the floods.
The US Embassy announced that it will give another 30 million dollars (more than 6 billion Pakistani rupees) in humanitarian aid through USAID.
The US Embassy says that it will work with local partners and authorities for assistance, and the purpose of the assistance is to provide immediate food, clean water, financial assistance and shelter to the victims.
On the other hand, Masood Khan, Pakistan's ambassador to the United States, expressed his gratitude for the 30 million dollars aid from the United States for the flood victims.
He said that he is grateful to America for the humanitarian aid of 3 million dollars, and appreciates America's standing with the Pakistani people during this calamity.
