Early Morning at the Local Wawa's

I thought it might be interesting to share observations of places in my local St Pete Fl area. 

Some comments and pictures.

I like to go to the Wawa station early in the morning before it gets swamped by customers. If you don't know,

Wawa's is a 24hr gas station and convenience store that serves made to order food like sandwiches, coffee and more.

Sometimes I wake up at 4 am and can't go back to sleep anyway so it is a perfect time to get gas.

I live in the Tampabay area which is one of the most congested parts of Florida. Traffic is very frustrating

during the day. My mom taught me to go out early and get shopping and errands done be for all the crazy people hit the road.

There is one in the area called Bay Pines. Bay Pines is a local Veterans' Hospital. There is a park called War Veterans Memorial Park. It has a boat ramp that provides access to Boca Ciega Bay. That park is across the street and down about a block.

Wawa's has a goldmine!

I was there at 6am today and there was a boat gassing up. Many times there are several of the getting fuel. I don't know how much gas one of the boats takes but is a lot. And with a boat you can't take a chance of running out. So you know everyone of them is filing their tanks. 

Then the guys going fishing on the boat all need coffee breakfast, food and maybe ice for there onboard uses.

This is medium sized boat - I have seen some much larger and also some smaller bass boats.

I will usually go in after getting gas to get coffee and a breakfast burrito. The fishermen will be chatting it up with the Wawa crew and calling them by first name. They are very friendly and some of the charter boat go out everyday.

Water sports and fishing are why people love Florida!
