Put the petals in a bowl or glass, add about 200-250ml of water.
Pour water into the pot and put the flower bowl. Place water in the pot about 3cm so that water does not overflow into the bowl.
Lightly simmer, water will never boil. After about 45-60 minutes the water will change color (from the petals) and have a thin layer of oil on the bowl. During boiling, you should keep watch as the pot is depleted.
