The common house fly in the picture should show just how large this bloom really is. This is a picture of a common yellow Lily found abundantly across the south-eastern United States. Sometimes, they'll have a bit of orange around the center of the petals that makes it look kind of like a warm fire flower. Good thing this isn't a carnivorous flower, or that fly would have been lunch!
