Well, I think is is a hybrid called "Blue Elf", but I could be wrong, there are so many different cultivars and this was given to me, I never bought it as a labelled plant. A Sedeveria is an interspecies hybrid of Echeveria and Sedum. Some of the Sedeveria cultivars have rosettes that look more like Echeveria but this one has more of a Sedum appearance.

The amazing thing about these plants is that they can survive in such tiny containers although I am going to repot this one.

What a pretty long stems and light colour! I like when they start to creep out of the pots like that. Looks so rustic :)

For sure! Korean growers get plants to be very fat and dark coloured by growing them for a long time in the same small pot. I do like the look

Succulent bonsai :)

The flower is superb

Yep!

I'm always amazed by the flowers on succulents, they are all so different and beautiful.

They are, although to me, they are just a bonus. I really like the leaves and plant forms

i like when they trail out like that! how long has that one been growing in there?

Only a year

amazing growth!

Lots of sun and a very organic mix

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

I always find it fascinating when plants seem to thrive, in spite of what seems like adverse growing conditions.

There was a place I used to visit a long time ago. It was basically a bare granite dome, probably 150m high and 600-700m across. Up on the top, nothing but bare granite, except for little cracks and hollows. And here I could find little trees, some probably 100 years old, scratching out a life in a crack with nothing but a bit of crumbling granite dust and occasional rain pooling.

Anyway, a lovely flower, too.

Any news on Ms P?

=^..^=

Thank you. It's true that they can survive some really inhospitable situations. Ms P is doing well and seems to be back to normal. How are you?

Glad to hear Ms P is better!

Doing well, thank you — life at the house is back to it's usual routine, which is the preferred way of at least this cat!

=^..^=
