Arboretum Walkabout

There is a wonderful arboretum near where I live that is known for its dahlia garden. I went there on my first photo shoot of the season using it for exercise as well as enjoying the natural beauty of our little local gem in upstate New York.

The dahlias were just beginning to show buds and look like they're going to be a healthy bunch this year. Many springtime flowers and flowering bushes were beginning to show their age while trees and shrubs were maturing well.
