One way to know that it is the dry season in my country is to look at the poui tree. This time of the year, the poui tree is in all of its glory. My favourite is the yellow poui. I don't think there is a more beautiful sight than this tree covered in an abundance yellow flowers and its inviting yellow carpet below. A lovely picture indeed.
I took this photo last week, not of the yellow poui, but the pink one. Not as beautiful as the yellow, in my opinion, but pretty nevertheless. I must preface that this photo does not do justice to the tree, it was taken early in morning, with my phone which does not have the best quality camera.
