I always liked peonies.

And not only for their beauty, diversity.

I really like their scent!

Cultivate peonies began in China, more than two thousand years ago.

Its name "peony" flower was given in honor of the healer Pean, who saved people and gods from the deadly wounds received in the battles.

Today there are more than five thousand varieties of peonies!

On one place peonies can grow over 10 years.

Florists always appreciated the Peony for its unpretentiousness.

But despite this, he did not (for some reason) survive.

I tried to follow all the rules of planting his tuber, but he was dying ...

After these attempts, I can only look, sniff and photograph peonies ...

Unfortunately, I could not make more photos of peonies, since ended a battery of the tablet ...

I forgot to charge it :-(

At the exhibition I saw this plant.

At first it seemed to me that this is an artificial flower.

Coming closer I even touched him :-)))

But he was a living flower.

I could not find out its name. His owner was absent at the time.

Can any of you know?

I also...
We are also very hot.
My attempts to grow peonies - ended in failure ...

I have never grown peonies, they are really pretty, though. Your mystery flower is really interesting but I have no idea what it is

Thank you very much!
I'm surprised that you did not grow peonies.
It is a pity that you do not know the name of this flower. He is very interesting!

This is the first time in my life that I have a garden to grow flowers in. Before, I always moved around too much and I kept succulents because they can be grown indoors

Congratulations!
The garden is beautiful !!!

Thank you! It gives me a lot of enjoyment

:-)

I love peonies too! They are beautiful blossoms.

No clue what that last plant is. It is definitely different. The leaves surrounding that one big blossom adds to the plant's charm.

I agree with you!
Now a lot of new varieties.
