Schlumberger (lat. Schlumbergera) is a genus of epiphytic cacti, common in tropical forests in the South-East of Brazil[3], including in Rio de Janeiro, at an altitude of 900-2800 m.in Europe was brought by the collector Allan Cunningham about 1816.
