They grow just about anywhere, springing up in unexpected territory including the cracks of sidewalks, and even arid dry places such as deserts. One of God's most beautiful creations.
Year round a variety of blooms and plants blossom. Waiting to be plucked and arranged, to be admired in the comfort of our own homes. It brings us joy and a warm feeling inside. These past few weeks, we have spent a lot of time thinking about flowers. Why you ask?
Looking for inspiration for floral designs for a special wedding we were asked to design, we knew we had to approach it in a slightly different way. We were looking towards an earthy and romantic design. Therefore, inspired by the change and texture often found in natural landscapes, We created not only floral arrangements but plant arrangements.
Succulents are beautiful plants and have become a favorite to have around. It seems that many have hopped onto the succulent train and aren't planning on getting off anytime soon. Since they are extremely easy to care for and require very little maintenance, we knew this would be something even the Bride could take home and cherish. With over 60 plant families and 10,000 succulent species, numerous sizes and various prominent colors, we just had to include them into our floral design.
For that reason, we went ahead and took the opportunity to visit a local farm that specializes in growing, nurturing, and selling cacti and succulents.
Aside from their beautiful shapes and colors, they hold up well without water for a long time. As a wedding flower, succulents have a beautiful meaning linked to them. A symbol for enduring and timeless love.
Here we have the final presentation to our succulent floral arrangements packaged and ready to go. These little beauties are a perfect thoughtful gift to give away to friends or family; requiring little maintenance, it's a gift that is sure to last.
