That is simply stunning, especially so contrasted with the flower! I've never seen this species before so I thank you very much for sharing.

    Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. The species is quite common in both North and South America its scientific name is (Heliconius Charithonia) what makes them different from other butterflies, is that they feed on both nectar and pollen. When they roost at night, they cling together in groups of 40 to 60. Thank you for commenting, regards Tranquilpen
