Belize - A Fishing Utopia for Anglers

in flyfishing •  8 years ago  (edited)

Why Belize? How about 200 miles of pristine flats to flyfish or fish which hold world class Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit and Snook. Catch all four in one day and you get yourself the highly acclaimed Super Slam! The Bonefish pictured above was caught and shared on reelfinatics.com by member Chris Pelletiere during his Belize trip. Lets not forget natural wonder the Belize Barrier Reef! The reef alone holds 500 species of fish. It's 186 miles of God's glory!

Once beyond the Barrier Reef lie Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi and more! If an angler ever has the desire and means to take a fishing trip to Belize, jump on it ASAP!
