Here in Europe some of the cheaper airlines are starting to enforcer weight restrictions on carry-on luggage to prevent just that. It seems the time when you could stuff as much as you wanted in there as long as it fitted will soon be gone.

The weight is also a question of safety. Especially carry-on bag. I think being safe is No 1. Better to take less stuff))))
