Testing out the multiple pictures feature on Steepshot (there should be 7), involving a classic folk band and a precarious house...
So, the first week of August can only mean one thing - the folk festival in my home town! A big part of the folk scene and has been going for over 60 years. And of course, I like to be back and get involved as it's a great time of year to be around. Looks like the weather will be kind to us too this year.
A nice stroll along the seafront, a couple of beers and a great band called Fairport Convention. An excellent way to open proceedings.
The festival starts properly today and runs till next Friday... an 8 day extravaganza!

Nice pictures! It looks like a beautiful place! I used to go to a folk and bluegrass festival when I was younger, it was always a good time. So many great artists to see and hear!
