50 followers! Let's party!

The following is the unedited transcript of my acceptance speech at the "50 Steemit Followers Awards Banquet" I threw for myself today:

"Wow, thank you! Thank you!

No, please... Please, thank you, sit down.

Sit down from in front of your laptops, tablets, and phones, stop dancing in celebration, please! PLEASE!

Thank you. Ahem...

I've prepared a speech for this momentous occasion. Please, please, take your seats. I don't want to be linked to causing any riots on the news, on the "mainstream media", hardy har har. ....

..Ok. ...This is so beautiful.

I promised myself I wasn't going to cry... Gimmie just a second.

...There are so many people I want to thank. First and foremost, I want to thank God. I know that you're my neighbor, and it's really weird that you had your name legally changed to God, kind of a dick-move to all the church goers around here, really a sacrilegious move if you ask me- But you stopped your dog from barking in the middle of the night with the doggie anti-depressants, and that enabled me to concentrate on my steemit work, so that's worth a thank you. So thank you! Much obliged, God. ...Now I won't have to have Miss Sprinkles taken away by the dog pound and euthanized. But you're great, really!

Second, I'd like to thank everyone on Steemit. Especially those kind souls who have interacted with me. It feels good to get a response to a post, a comment, an upvote, to learn, to interact, to build community!... It's all so beautiful-

-Ohp, that sounds like the band playing me off to commercial. One last thing- Until we celebrate again at 100 followers, steem on and carry on! Then when we reach 10,000 followers I will lead my followers bravely into battle! I will lead you into a blood bath, the mother of all battles! I will lead you in the bloody, painful, revolution! Sacrifice! Remember Dunkirk!!

The followers who comment on recipe inaccuracies will charge bravely on the front line, they being the most zealous of followers!!! ... To the death!

...What? I can't say that?

But they're my followers? They'll follow me, that's what followers do, right? I lead they follow?

They are very zealous though...

I mean, you have to follow the recipe if you want it to turn out. ...? Not That? The part about the blood and revolution?

...But they'll want to fight for me, they're my followers, you know, ra-ra-bang-bang, kill-kill...
