As I'm in Germany and Brexit is on my mind I am featuring some people from continental Europe this week.
- I got to know @uwelang on Tsu before Steem. He's done well here posting about music and other topics. I've been to Germany and he's been in London, but we have yet to meet in meatspace.
- I have met @detlev, twice, at Steemfest. He runs the Beer Saturday challenge and so we had to have some beers together.
- In Denmark we find artist @katharsisdrill who produces the long-running Phill from GCHQ comic. I just bought some figures of the characters that were made by @evilhippie and sold under their @olde-steemshop banner.
- @paolobeneforti and @silviabeneforti are artists from Italy. It's fun to see their creative process.

The Steem price has gone down again after a nice rise, but that may have been based on people trying to profit from one of the exchanges having a better price. At least it's not as low as it has been this year.
Steemit Inc has a new boss in @elipowell. She has done challenges ahead. @ned is still there too and I hope he can direct his energies productively.
I wonder what drama will happen next week.

@bembelmaniac is in Germany somewhere. I am not sure which part. Too bad you couldn't have met up with him. Those are some great people you have highlighted.
