Follow My Vote is a newly developed open source e-democracy platform. Developed by graduates from Virginia Tech University, It is one of the first open source democracy platforms that operates with blockchain technology. We see a lot of issues today showing signs that our ballot voting processes that may being getting tampered with. Block chaining technology that Follow My Vote offers is a sorely needed innovative solution to combat this issue.
Blockchain technology implies that when a user makes a decision the decision is made from a secure location online. From the secure location, it creates a decentralized server making it secure and impossible to be hacked and manipulated from outside sources. Similar to the Bitcoin block chaining method Follow My Vote blaze's the way for secure democracy voting systems. Some people complain saying it's impossible for voting to be done online. Follow My Vote offers a very real solution making a voting rational and secure.
