I am fascinated with how Ilocanos really really enjoy bagoong as part of their dishes, either a cooking ingredient or just an appetizing dip.
I love bagoong (fish sauce) too, as mush as I love siomai :-) and Chili sauce.
And this, is a fusion of these three.

Today, in Pangasinan... we've decided to try our fried siomai rice meal which is part of our menu, but I decided to do the taste test on siomai and dip only.
For 10.00 php, our customers can get to enjoy 3 pieces of siomai, then add 20.00 php for rice and egg! :-)
We planned to have our soft opening last Monday but classes were suspended due to unfriendly weather, the highschool students which is our target market wouldn't be able to visit the eatery.
We decided to schedule the grand opening on a later date.
Wow ang mura ha.. am sure marami kayong sales nyan..
