On Diwali day, I had not plans. Ended up a Lorong 8 Toa Payoh for lunch. A usual lunch place. Tried the fish soup stall which have not eaten at for a while. I tried it once and thought it was not so bad.
在排灯节那天，没什么节目。就去了大巴窑8巷吃午餐。那是常去的用餐地点。决定吃一摊有段时间没吃得的鱼汤摊。只光顾过一次，也算不错。

The soup was quite quite with quite a bit of fish slices.
这汤里的鱼片也不少。
In addition, I ordered a fried egg with bitter gourd which was more disappointing. Looks good but I think need more soy sauce.
另外，还点了一个苦瓜炒蛋但那令人有点失望。看起来是不错，但我认为需要更多的酱油。
Then after the more healthy meal, we bought home some less healthy prawn paste chicken to the in-laws' place. That was good. Sinful stuff usually taste better. :-)
然后在健康的一餐后，我们买了一些不太健康的虾酱鸡到太太娘家。那很好味道。不健康的东西总是味道好。 :-)
All in, total cost was $23. Not too bad a deal.
