A FDA food safety laboratory tested food for residues of the weed killer glyphosate (aka Monsanto’s Roundup) and found ALARMING amounts.
Just to give you an idea of how outrageous these amounts are, independent research shows that probable harm to human health begins at really low levels of exposure – at only 0.1 ppb of glyphosate. Many foods were found to have over 1,000 times this amount! Well above what regulators throughout the world consider “safe”.
This does not seems true. A joint FAO/WHO document concluded that '' The overall weight of evidence indicates that
administration of glyphosate and its formulation products at doses as high as 2000 mg/kg body weight by the oral route, the route most relevant to human dietary exposure, was not associated with genotoxic effects in an overwhelming majority of studies conducted in mammals, a model considered to be appropriate for assessing genotoxic risks to humans.''
2000 mg/kg = 2000000 ppb.
Now you have both side of the fence, conclude what you want.

Can't confirm this myself right now, but I've seen this back and forth so many times that I've gotta at least tell others to look into it carefully for themselves. There's a lot of FUD going around over pretty much anything and everything.
For one thing "foodbabe.com" does not scream trustworthy to me.
