Braaitime - lazy Sunday's....

Sunday afternoons spent with family, today we just braaied some boerewors,

this we serve with a traditional mieliepap, sishebo sauce and a garden salad...

Topped off with a slice of home made banana bread....

The greens for the salad, lettuce, basil, thyme, garlic chives, chives, parsley, sweetrocket, purslane and oregano... all organic from the garden...

Some Translations...

Braai - Barbeque
Boerewors - BeefSausage
Mieliepap - Maize porridge with Sweet Corn
Sishebo Sauce - 🍅 onion mix spices

That looks very good -i grew up in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe and we always had sudza (mealie pap) with our braai .
