Bringing you yet another Tuesday with some decent tips.
If you were here last Tuesday, you would have heard me mention the Beyond Meat Burger. Found at most Whole Foods, these delicious patties are the premiere of vegan meat, in my opinion. If you have found one better, don't hesitate to let a girl know.
Back to the best burger I've ever eaten. Here I will provide a few tips on how to enjoy your burger. I have a great time making these. It always feels like I'm cheating. Though its not a cheat food. Please don't tell my tastebuds 😊.
First things first. I keep my burgers refrigerated a day before preparing. Just a preference. For cooking, I prefer a good wok or non-stick skillet... Woks work best. Since I need to have two teaspoons a day anyway, I cook most things with Coconut Oil. I enjoy the taste with this particular food. I use 2 teaspoons per patty. I warm up the grease. Once the grease is nice and hot, it's time to place the Beyond Meat in the wok/skillet.
Ingredients:
Beyond Meat Burgers
Buns (hamburger)
Pickles
Tomatoes
Organic Romaine Lettuce, or Your favorite lettuce
Organic Baby Spinach
Organic Mayo or Vegan Mayo (Chipotle for me)
Your favorite mustard
Ketchup
°¥°¥°¥°¥°¥°¥°¥°¥
Utensils:
Wok or Non-Stick Skillet
Metal spatula (something to flip meat)
Knife
Plates
Paper towels
Your preferred seasoning:
(for me... a dash of sweet paprika and Lawry's)
Preheat oven: 350 degrees
Typically I dash on 1/2 teaspoon of Lawry's and a dash of paprika on the patty while cooking. Then I wait 20 seconds and flip over the patty and add 1/2 teaspoon of Lawry's and maybe a dash of paprika on each side. After 60 seconds or so, I flip the patty and repeat. Just to ensure its cooking evenly. Once I see its cooking, I turn down the heat to medium and cover the wok/skillet.
While that's going, I use this time to cut my tomatoes. I never cut them consistently. Slice them as you like.
Check on the patties...
Cut and rinse the lettuce and baby spinach.
Flip patties..
Place buns in the oven.
Continue to cook Beyond Meat until it is done. I prefer mine well done...
Make sure to take buns out of the oven. Doesn't take long to warm them unless they are frozen.
Get your plates ready. Place heated buns on plates.
Once Beyond patties are done, use the metal spatula to place them on a plate with paper towels or napkins... Something to soak up the little bit of grease. Unless you want it fresh out of the pan. 😁
While they cool, it's a good time to liven up buns with condiments. Only you know what you like on a burger. Feel free to make it as you choose.
What do I do? A Girl uses chipotle mayo, ketchup and mustard. I don't play when it comes to Burger Time. 😎Afterwards, I apply lettuce and baby spinach. Then tomatoes and pickles. The Patty is the crowning ingredient. Stacked high and full of good nutrition, this Burger is COMPLETE.

As a side, I typically make some yam fries or Daiya dairy-free Cheesy Mac. Apple slices will due, if this meal is too much to consume. Truly, the burger may be a meal in itself depending on how high you stack it. Let's not forget Alexia makes Organic Onion Rings... Yes... This too can be added to your burger or eaten on the side.
It's a small slice of heaven. So, there is how to wiggle your way into a Girl's heart. Okay that and ASOIAF theories... A Girl has her loves. A Girl would love to hear your version of the perfect burger, vegan or no.
