Georgian Cuisine is My Favourite! My Impressions on Visit of Georgian Restaurants.

Recently we visited 2 Georgian restaurants and I would like to share with you my impressions. Georgian cuisine is my favourite. I even can cook one my favourite dish called chakhokhbili (I have found the translation into English but I m not sure - Chaohoff) - stewed chicken with vegetables. Soon I will cook it and share the recipe with you. You will eat it together with your fingers. So delicious it is.

We visited the restaurant called Kakhuri. If I am not mistaken it is translated like green (about the sort of grape (which has very green colour) they make Georgian wine of).

So, the food was very delicious and not expensive.

I ordered chashushuli. It is stewed veal with vegetables mostly with tomatoes.

In Georgian restaurants we always order khachapuri. It is Georgian bread with cheese, eggs and others. There are different kinds of it and we ordered one with egg. It is called Adjarian.

My husband ordered Chanakhi. It is stewed mutton with vegetables in the pot.

Our daughter of 4 ordered fries (no doubts) and pork shashlyk (kebab).

The interior is simple but with some Georgian decorations.

What I also like about that restaurant that you can buy frozen chakhapuri and khinkali. Khinkali is huge raviolis with meat. So, we bought it. They look like that.

We visit another restaurant called Yuzhnoe - South rather often as it is 5 mins walk from us. And there is big plus that at weekend there is free animation for kids,

Last time my husband took my favourite chachochbili (chicken stewed with vegetables)

And I took fried fish barabulka. The English variant is mullet if my dictionary doesn't lie. I ate it in Cyprus first time. And having nostalgia I decided to order it. When I live in Cyprus I was learnt how to cook it. You heat much much oil and put fish in hot oil. Then when one side is ready fish turns around by itself.)))
