Easy mango, banana, and kiwifruit green smoothie bowl with customizable toppings - the easiest and healthiest way to turn your morning smoothie into a satisfying meal!
Smoothie bowls are a huge and trendy thing right now. Not only because of their great taste, but you can nearly use any flavor combo you like and top with your fav fruits and crunchy bits... and they look so pretty too!
Ingredients (serves 2)
For smoothie base
- 2 bananas, chunked and frozen for extra creaminess
- 1.5 cups mango, save some for topping
- 1 cup fresh spinach, packed
- 1 kiwifruit
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut or almond milk (use almond milk if you want to keep the calories down)
For the toppings
- 1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tbsps dried mulberries
- 2 tbsps dried goji berries
- 3 tbsps unsweetened shredded coconut
Instructions
- Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth.
- Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite ingredients.
Recipe Notes
- If you prefer an ice cream-like texture of the smoothie base, freeze all ingredients except the nut milk and blend while still frozen.
- This is a flexible recipe, so feel free to add other toppings or smoothie base ingredients.
- Other possible toppings include raw cacao nibs, chia seeds, chopped almonds, pistachios, hemp hearts, fresh berries, granola, etc.
