🌞🍓Green Smoothie of The Day: Basil, Berry, Beet Antioxidant Morning Blast Smoothie 🌞🍓

Morning on my side of the world and you all know what that means... SMOOTHIE TIME! Who's up for a glass packed with good-for-you ingredients? I sure am. I'm actually getting quite excited as our move to the coast and jungle garden is coming closer.

Can't wait to serve you a morning smoothie with guava, coconut, mango, jackfruit, etc straight from the garden. Pure morning bliss. Though I haven't explored to 2 hectares fully yet, I hope with have a soursop and a durian tree too.... that would be just amazing! Love those tropical fruits.

Ingredients

1.5-2 cups coconut water or plain water
2 cups spinach
1 frozen banana
1 small raw red beet, washed, peeled, and roughly chopped
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
2 tbsp hemp hearts
1/4 fresh Italian Basil (mint works too), or to taste
1-2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil (optional)

Directions

Blend (coconut) water and spinach until smooth. Add other ingredients and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw everything in at once! If the smoothie is too thick, at more water.
Optional top with superfoods such as chia seeds, hemp hearts or goji berries.
