Super quick smoothie made with just 3 ingredients! This healthy smoothie is also nutritious, gluten free, sugar free and can be easily prepared vegan by using dairy free milk.
Smoothies can make a healthy breakfast or snack food. This creamy banana smoothie is actually good for you: bananas are great sources of dietary fibers, minerals like potassium and magnesium, and a good source of other vitamins (A and C). This smooth drink is high in protein and low in fats. One serving of this delicious vegan smoothie is under 200 calories. Sounds like a keeper, isn't it?
This refreshing and filling drink can be prepared in no time, just blend together the milk (of your choice), a ripe banana and a pinch of ground cinnamon. For the best flavour, use the ripest bananas that you have lying around.
Enjoy this simple, 5-minute banana smoothie! Boost your smoothie by adding more fruits, nuts nut butter or even ice cubes.
Vegan Banana Smoothie Recipe
Prep time: 5 minutes | Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 1 1/2 cups almond milk
- pinch of ground cinnamon
Let's make this smoothie!
- Place bananas, milk and cinnamon in a blender. Add ice cubes if you desire.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes. Make sure all banana chunks are gone.
- Pour the smoothie in two glasses. Garnish with cinnamon and serve.
