The 5 Stages Of Depression

Very beautiful. I have struggled too, and sometimes still do. What has helped me is to just to sit and observe/feel the feelings. in that way, by observing, it becomes more easy to deal with because we don't identify with it. Depression occurs when we identify with our thoughts. Depression is thoughts projected in the past, while anxiety is projected in the future. When you feel depressed, feel it! Really feel it. For a few minutes. Then it will slowly subside, because you are just observing it. With anxiety, which is something I still deal with, I try to ask myself: What would a child do? A child wouldn't do anything. a child has no worries, therefore I try to imagine myself being a child again. Free.
