Boxty in Dublin

If you are visiting Ireland, you should try one of the traditional main dishes. Apart from the famous Irish Breakfast, bacon & cabbage, soda bread, and other delicious seafood, there's one dish which is very Irish but unknown to a large part of people living in Ireland. This is boxty, a potato pancake, made with raw/mashed potatoes, flour sifted soda bread and buttermilk. You can't find more Irish! Here's an overview of what if feels like:

I found that it really looked like a potato omelette, the inside is free-range chicken and a delicious creamy sauce with bacon.

If you'd like to try it out, I ate it at Gallagher's Boxty in Temple Bar, I found it tasty with quality products. However, it was a bit pricey, 18 euros, given that I was still hungry at the end of the meal.
