Semolina Pudding (Suji Haluwa)

Hello friends,

Welcome to my post. Today I have bring you a sweet dish that is Semolina Pudding (also known as Suji ko Haluwa).

This is a very tasty dish for sweet lovers and one of the options for those people who have fasting. I always take this dish while I have my fasting on saturdays.

Ingredients
Semolina 250gm
Ghee 3 Tablespoon
Sugar 5 Tablespoon
Grated fresh coconut 3 Tablespoon
Pieces almonds 5
Water 700 ml

Heat a pan (take deep one) and add ghee.

Pour Semolina into it.

Fry until it turns brown.

Add sugar and mix it well. Increase the quantity of sugar if you love lots of sweets and decrease if you don't.

Now add grated coconut and mix it well.

Add little bit of almonds saving some for garnishing and mix it too.

Add water and cook it until it turns into right thickness that you want. If you pour more water then you don't need to worry. Cook until the water reduces but be careful that water reduces fast. So keep on turning with spatula.

Now your semolina pudding is ready. If its hot weather then you can have with juice and if its cold weather, then you can have with milk or tea.
