Lunchtime guys. Ta-dah!

"Sauteed Bitter Gourd",or as we call it here in the Philippines, "Ginisang Ampalaya."

Some folks don't like this dish because of it's bitter taste. Some have tried it once and never attempted to eat it again. But, the bitterness of the dish sometimes depends on the way it's cooked.

Our Mother is one of those people who knows how to cook it just right. That's why me and my siblings love this dish. Aside from it being delicious, it's also nutritious. It helps lower your blod pressure. That's why Ampalaya is now used in medicines.

Try it! It's really good.

Is it vegetarian?

Well, I put ground beef in the dish. But I think it's still yummy even without pork.
