Hello!
Today we will cook a very delicious appetizer Hummus, which, despite the components (only chickpeas and spices), a very interesting dish.
Firstly, the combination of olive oil, chickpeas and lemon in the complete absence of heat treatment makes hummus very healthy.
Secondly, its taste can be varied by adding seasonings and spices, as the base (chickpeas and tahini) has a relatively neutral taste.
Thirdly, this recipe is so simply and quickly, that receives award "The most short article of this blog" — today we have only two pictures )).
Difficulty: 1/10
Cooking time: 5 min.
Number of servings: 6
Ingredients:
- Canned chickpeas, 1 can (400 gr.)
- Tahini paste, 70 gr.
- Lemon, 1 PC.
- Garlic, 2 cloves
- Olive oil, 5 tbsp.
- Ground cumin, 1 tsp.
- Ground paprika, 0.5 tsp.
- Salt
You can make a tahini paste It yourself from sesame seeds, lemon and olive oil (there are many recipes), but, easier buy ready paste.
Squeeze out the juice from the lemon, peel the garlic. The liquid from the chickpeas is drained into a separate Cup. All the ingredients and half the lemon juice put in a deep bowl and grind with a blender to a paste. If the hummus is very dense, dilute with liquid from under the chickpeas.
Taste, salt to taste, add lemon juice if necessary, mix, serve.
Bon appetit!
