Hello!
Today I will tell you how we usually cook meatballs. Not that this recipe was the only correct one, but after many experiments, we settled on it.
Difficulty: 4/10
Cooking time: 35 min.
Number of servings: 4-5
Ingredients:
- Minced meat (50/50 pork, beef), 400 gr.
- Rye bread, 100 gr.
- Wheat bread, 120 gr.
- Onion, 1 PC.
- Dried garlic, 0.5 tsp.
- Black pepper, vegetable oil, salt
Cut the crusts from the bread. Grate on a big grater onion. Soak bread in water for five minutes, squeeze, mix with minced meat, onion and garlic. Salt, pepper to taste, stir the and leave alone for ten minutes.
Make meatballs with a diameter of 3-4 cm. We have thirty pieces.
Heat the pan well, add a little vegetable oil and fry the meatballs over high heat for five minutes, turning them over periodically.
In principle, if now the pan is covered with a lid and bring the meatballs to readiness on a low heat for ten or twelve minutes, it will be tasty. But you can cook the sauce and make the meatballs more delicious.
Take a little mashed tomatoes, a small onion, 3 cloves of garlic and parsley.
Cut the onion in half rings, chop the garlic and parsley finely, leaving a few leaves to serve.
Add the onion to the meatballs, fry all together for a minute, dilute the tomatoes in a small amount of hot water, pour the contents into the pan, add the garlic, salt, pepper, bring to a boil and simmer under the lid on a low heat for ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the parsley, stir, cover with a lid, turn off the heat and let it rest for two minutes.
Serve.
Bon appetit!
