Hello!
The Internet has many recipes for quick sauerkraut for two or even one day, but it is salted and does not have the taste and aroma inherent in cabbage, fermented and stood for a long time in a barrel or jar.
Today i will talk about quick recipe of sauerkraut, which tastes and consistency is very similar to barrel-sauerkraut.
Difficulty: 2/10
Cooking time: 5 min. + 5 days for fermentation
Number of servings: 6
Ingredients:
- Cabbage, 450 gr.
- Carrots, 1 PC.
- Salt, 1.5 tbsp.
- Sugar, 1 tbsp.
Shinkuem cabbage and carrots.
In 800 ml of hot water (not boiling water), dissolve the salt.
Put the cabbage in a saucepan or deep bowl, pour the resulting brine and leave for three days.
Add the sugar, stir, leave for another two days, after which we are happy to use it for its intended purpose )).
