👨‍🍳 Smoked Apple BBQ Baked Chicken with Mouth Watering Sweet Potato Salad & Sautéed Garlic Green Beans

Thought I'd share a photo [ #foodporn ] of the meal I created last night for dinner. I attempted to plate the dish like a pro... key word being attempted 🤗 I am still learning how to do this properly. I've always very much enjoyed artistically plated entrées at high-end, up-scale restaurants, and have always wanted to be able to match their level.

The problem is, I'm not a small person, and when cooking for myself I often make way more food then would look good on a single plate. So what you see here is only 20% of what I actually ate 😋 😂 but for plating purposes I now have to create two dishes! What I did in this dish is try to balance the plate focusing mainly on the chicken and using the sweet potato and greens beans to draw attention to the middle of the plate and inclose it with the bbq sauce.

I have a lot to learn but as promised, here's the dish...

Ingredients

• Boneless, Skin-On Chicken Breasts
• Green Beans
• Smoked Apple Barbecue Sauce
• 1 lb Sweet Potatoes
• 1 Shallot
• 1 bunch Chives
• 1 clove Garlic
• 1 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
