                                                                   pot briyani

ingredients:

1. black pepper -1 tsp
2. cloves -1 tsp
3. cinnamon stick -1
4. chili powder -1 tsp
5. turmeric powder -1 tsp
6. salt as needed
7. bay leaf -1
8. garam masala -1 tsp
9. yoghurt
10. onions
11. chicken 300 grams
12. basmati rice 3 cups
13. oil -3 tsp
14. ghee -3 tsp
15. mint leaves
16. lime or lemon

procedure:

1. first wash the rice and keep aside
2. wash the chicken and marinate the chicken with yoghurt , chilli powder,turmeric powder,lime and keep it in the freezer for 15 min
3. in the pot add some oil and add bay leaves ,cloves,black pepper,cinnamon stick fry it for one minute
4.  fry the onions till it turns goldens brown
5. now add the marinated chicken and cook it for 2 min
6. add garam masala powder and mix it properly
7. now add 8 cups of water and brings it boil for 3 min
8. add the rice to the pot
9. now add mint leaves
10. cover the top with aluminium foil and cook on  high flame for 15 min and low flames for 15 min
11. switch off the stove
