Carl's Jr burger review.

I live in Adelaide, South Australia. Recently the first ever Carl's Jr franchise opened up here in Adelaide. As with anything foreign, and especially American there is always a lot of hype around it.

Sadly, our experience didn't meet expectations. Service was great, and there's no denying the burgers were okay, but nothing out of this world. They were on par with a hungry Jack's burger, a rival fast food chain (similar to Burger King).

Famous star burger

I went for the 'famous star'it was a little dry, I was hoping for a nice juicy piece of Angus beef and more mayonnaise...Maybe my next experiment there may be better. Until then, I rate it 4/10.

Yeah a lot of these franchises are way overated and plenty of good places for good burgers.
The first KrispyKremes launched around 20mins away in Western Sydney-Penrith with queues over 2hours long. I remember the couple behind us came all the way from Perth. Now KK downsized a lot and just getitng by.

Yeh, too right. A lot of it comes down to the marketing of the product. Good luck to them, it paid off.
