In this bread there is no yeast, in an hour you will already eat! It is quite dense, but very tasty, especially when still warm from the oven, and with butter! It is more useful to do it with whole-grain flour, but it works well with the usual flour. The usual need a little more to make the dough come together in a bowl.
1 glass of oatmeal (fast or usual)
1 cup wholemeal (or plain) flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tablespoons Honey
1 tbsp. Vegetable oil
1 glass of milk
Preheat the oven to 230 C. Do this before you start kneading the dough!
Chop the oatmeal in a food processor or coffee grinder (preferably, but not necessarily). In a large bowl, combine oat flakes, flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, dissolve the honey in the vegetable oil, then add the milk and mix. Combine both mixtures and mix, get a damp, stiff dough. Put the dough in a greased bread mold or mold a ball from the dough (you'll have to add a little flour) and put it on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
The oven in preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the bottom when tapping will not make a dull sound.
The smell of fresh baked bread from the oven is unique...
