This was one of our best harvest: over 200 figs!
Here in Germany it's already getting cool, with mins of ~9°C and highs of ~18°C. Meanwhile our fig tree just keeps pumping out figs by the dozens every day.
Our tree usually starts growing figs early August and lasts until early November.
Dried figs are in their own right a sweet and delicious snack, but fresh ones almost taste like honey, are refreshing and even a few can easily satisfy your appetite.

So here's what we did with some of them:
A quiche filled with fig flesh and goat cheese
I mean with 200 at once you've got to transform them into something that lasts longer quick, or eat them all... They usually get moldy after 5 days.
