I'm always trying to add a twist to basic recipes. People always enjoyed my hummus, it's creamy, zesty and filled with flavour.
There are a few work colleagues who love having a good hummus with crackers for lunch.
i thought i would add a twist and some colour to the sometimes mono toned hummus colour.
The ingredients you will need are a few lemons, beetroot (tinned is fine) chick peas again tined are good, confit garlic, Cummin, sea salt or normal table salt and to bind it all together Tahini paste which every supermarket has in glasses
I use a hand blender to blitz this all together into a fine paste. You can add more beetroot juice to get desired consistency.
This is a fantastic fast condiment for your dinner party, also is great with roasted vegetables and a great vegan friendly dip.
Enjoy
