Cambodian Jasmine Rice Is The World's Best Rice

in food •  7 years ago

The natural aroma of Cambodian Jasmine rice, together with the most attractive surface, astound numerous consumers around the world. Since Cambodian farmers use minimal manures for its plantation contrasted with different countries, Cambodian Jasmine rice gives health benefits for buyers contrasted with some different sorts of rice. We guarantee you will enjoy the softness and the favorably natural aroma of Cambodian Jasmine rice with your family. Cambodian Jasmine rice won the titles of 2012, 2013, and 2014 World’s Best Rice in a global contest held by The Rice Trader.

Jasmine rice is essentially grown in the fields of Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. The level of instability is high on the world’s rice market due to a little change in the production or consumption gets a tremendous change in its total trade. A large segment of rice is produced, consumed, and traded by Asian countries. The top five rice exporters are Thailand, Vietnam, India, Pakistan and China representing 80% of worldwide rice trade. Of these five exporters Thailand remains in the first main position for the past four decades.

Dissimilar to trade, the import side is very fragmented. The top five rice importers represent around 30% of the total trade and top ten importers account for less than 50% of total imports. There are many big importers, including China are from Asia and account for quarter of the total trade. The other real major importing regions are Middle East and Africa. These two regions have a quickly growing rice market with trade volume expanding from 10 to 20 million tons.

Before ten years, Thailand was the main marketer of Jasmine rice in the world. But now Cambodia and Vietnam is the main marketer of Jasmine rice. Vietnam has turned into the biggest competitor in the world market for the Jasmine rice. The Jasmine rice is marketed in the China, United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Ivory Coast. Furthermore 600-700 thousand tons of rice is generally sent out to three West African countries namely Senegal, Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Jasmine rice customers are widely spread over the world. Cambodia will produce, distribute and market our product over the globe because Cambodia has the ability to promote their rice sectors and turn out to be big exporter in the future.
