Lemon Saffron Chicken

Ingredients:
6 large chicken fillets
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon ground green chilli
1⁄2 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper
1⁄8 teaspoon turmeric powder
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 lemon freshly squeezed
1 teaspoon saffron threads
2 tablespoon boiling hot water
2-3 drops saffron essence
1⁄2 cup plain double cream yoghurt
Method:
- Seep saffron in 2 tablespoon water.
- Marinate chicken in spices, garlic, chillies, lemon, yoghurt & saffron water.
- Heat oil in flat shallow pot.
- Place in marinated fillets (reserving marinade) & cook until just turns white on either side.
- Spoon onto fillets reserved marinade and place under preheated oven on grill setting.
- Cook chicken till done, & till little charred on top.
- Serve with savory rice/ chips & roti/ salad.
Note: if you do not want such a strong lemon taste, use only half lemon
