When I was working in Oman, one of my friend introduced me to oats that it is a very healthy food for breakfast. Once I started to eat in my breakfast I loved it so much that it became my daily breakfast. Later I also found that it has amazing health benefits.
There are so many ways to prepare it and so many recipes can be made out of it. I generally used to make it with milk and dry fruits and sometimes with seasonal fruits also.
Here I am sharing a very simple recipe I used to make it from years.
Ingredients for 2 servings
- Oats 1/2 cup
- Any plant milk (I used soy milk) 1 cup + 1/2 cup water
- Dry fruits/fresh fruits of your choice in desired quantity
Procedure
Heat the milk and add oats, stir continuously on low flame. When become thick add all dry fruits and cook for few minutes.
Garnish with your choice of dry fruits and serve hot.
You can add other ingredients like choco chips and chocolate if you like chocolate flavor.
If you like spicy skip milk and add spices of your choices. I will share masala oats recipe in my future post.
