Greetings my dear Steemians!
Since last night it has been raining so much here in Mauritius and it is still raining! This is because there’s a cyclone passing near the country and it is expected to be raining for the next couple of days!!
In such weather there’s nothing better than a hot Moroccan mint tea and some nice homemade cakes!!
Talking about cake, today I made some yummy Basboussa which is a very famous Moroccan sweet!!
Below are the ingredients that I used to make it!
- 3eggs
- 1cup of sugar
- 1cup of fine semolina
- 1cup of flour
- 100ml of milk
- 1cup of oil
- 14g of baking powder
Syrup
- 1cup of sugar
- 1cup of water
- 1slice if lemon
Simply make the cake batter by mixing all the above ingredients and realize the syrup with the water, sugar and lemon slice.
Pour the cake batter in a rectangular cooking tray and cook for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
After the cooking time, pour the hot syrup on the cake and put some grated coconut on top.
Let the cake cool down, then cut and serve!!!
As you noticed, this is so easy to make and sooo yummy too!

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته أصدقائي العرب منذ البارحة و الأمطار تتساقط بغزارة هنا في جزيرة الموريس مازالت تتساقط! لأن هناك عاصفة قوية ستمرُّ نحونا،ومن المتوقع
أنها ستمطر أيضا في الأيام المقبلة!
في هذا الجو الممطر ليس هناك أفضل من الإستمتاع بالشاي المغربي الساخن و بعض الحلوى التي تم تحضيرها في البيت نتكلم عن الحلوى ، لقد حضرت بعض الحلوى المعروفة بالبسبوسة .
لعمل هاته الحلوى الرائعة نحتاج إلى هذه العناصر
- 3بيضات
- كوب من السكر
- كوب من الحليب
- كوب من الزيت
- كوب من الدقيق
- كوب من السميد الرقيق أو ما تسمى بالسيمولينا
- 14غرام من خميرة الحلويات الزا
بالنسبة لتحضير القطر أو السيرو - كوب من السكر
- كوب من الماء
- (و قطعة ليمون ( حامض
نمزج المكونات جيدا حتى نحصل على على خليط سائل ، نقوم بذهن المول الخاص بالفرن بالزبدة لكي لا يلتصق ثم نصب الخليط و ندعه يطهى على درجة حرارة 180.
عندما تطهى نقوم بصب السيرو على البسبوسة و هي ساخنة . بعد ذلك نقوم بتزيينها بالكوك و نقوم بتقطيعها و تقديمها مع الشاي الساخن .
