Greetings my lovely friends of steemit!
Today another Moroccan easy recipe! I will share with you the flatbread in the Moroccan way , which we call them there mssemen or rghaif, Normally we serve them with the Moroccan tea with mint, we can make many forms with the same dough, can be be square and we call it mssemen, and can be also around and will call it, meloui, just the way of forming them.
So I will show you how you can prepare them just with simple ingredients:
- put in bowl the flour mixed with semolina + salt+ little yeast and warm water.
- mix all the ingredients until you get a soft dough.
- form it into small balls.
- Spread the ball with oil and form it as you see in picture below , and put little cheese inside and form a square.
- cook them with little oil in hot pan , and turn them , and put the oil again if they needed.
Yum yum! My Moroccan mssemen is ready!!! I served them with honey and melted butter, and of course I drink my Moroccan mint tea !!! Am very satisfied with the results! It’s super delicious!!!!
