Have You Ever Tried Green Mangoes?

I know this might sound absurd especially for Pinoys but...

As I was chatting with my friend from The Netherlands and I asked him if he likes greens mangoes, he actually thinks I was lying because he thought there's no such thing as green mangoes.

Okay, so this is when I realized that some countries doesn't get green mangoes but in my country, Philippines, it's very common. It's our national fruit because it's everywhere. It's every Filipino's favorite snack. Well, maybe not everyone but most of us likes green mangoes.

We usually peel it first. Some people eat it with the skin. I prefer it without skin. We like it paired with shrimp paste. It's salty and spicy and nice to pair with the green mango because it's a little bit sour.
