Portugal Christmas Appetizer

Hello guys! How are you today? We're really close to Christmas, yeah! And today what I have to show you is a typical appetizer of the Christmas season here in Portugal. These appetizers are made with codfish and they are called pasteis de bacalhau (codfish pastel) or bolos de bacalhau (codfish balls). As you know, codfish is very consumed in Portugal. Portuguese people love codfish so could not miss it on Christmas Day.

Olá pessoal!! Como estão hoje? Estamos mesmo mesmo perto do Natal, yeah! E hoje o que tenho para vos mostrar é um petisco típico da época de Natal aqui em Portugal. Estes petiscos são feitos com bacalhau e são chamados de pasteis de bacalhau ou bolinhos de bacalhau. Como vocês sabem Portugal é um dos maiores consumidores de bacalhau, nós adoramos bacalhau, então este não poderia faltar no dia de Natal.

      Great shots of them our sons in laws are Portuguese and I am sure I have tried these with them more than once
