in food •  7 years ago

Hey folk @cryptokraze here with my new Blog about Food and Health awareness in which I will highlight the health benefits associated with Papaya. We should add variety of foods in our diet because they have bio-active components in them that help in preventing many diseases and provide other health benefits.
Papaya is a natural source of minerals and vitamins vital to the normal working of the human body. It is famous for its tropical bright colors and flavors. It can be eaten as raw fruits, milkshakes, smoothies or vegetables in various recipes.

Health Benefits of Papaya

The health benefits of papaya are:

Weight Loss

Papaya is also good for people who want to lose weight naturally. Having a bowl full of papaya snacks in the evening or during the day is good for your health and weight loss due to its fiber that makes you feel full and bowel movement easy.

Aids in Digestion

Papaya is usually well digested. Papain is a super-digestive enzyme that improves digestion by breaking down proteins and cleansing the digestive tract.

Prevents Infections

Papaya can effectively kill intestinal worms to avoid associated complications and infections.

Skin Care

Papaya can be a good conditioner, so they are used in many cosmetics. In addition, papaya is used by many women for homemade masks. Papaya purifies the skin and kills dead cells. The useful components and repair enzymes in papaya can help skin irritation and treat sunburn.

Prevents Arthritis

Papaya is known to be effective against osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. An enzyme found in papaya, known as papaya chymase, has a significant effect on the control of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Treats Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration is an eye disease. In this case, the eye cells worsen, causing blindness and blurred vision. It is an age-related disease. Adding papaya to your diet can help reduce the risk of macular degeneration. An antioxidant called beta-carotene provides papaya.

Unwashed human, where did you source this information from? The claims about this fruit are quite extreme so other humans are likely to want to understand what studies confirm the claims made in this post.

Tub Cat is disappointed that no references have been provided for the claims made about this fairly tasteless fruit.

Tub Cat suggests that you think carefully about the quality of your content before spending SBD to boost your post to the trending page.

Tub Cat Out!

Yeah I've noticed the same problem with a lot of trending articles at least in the health section. They contain a lot of assertions and ZERO citations or quotations from studies or researchers. Just lazy...

Very good story on Papaya, which is called Pepe in Bangladesh. It has enormous health health benefits, including lowering cholesterol and controlling diabetics.

So everybody in Bangladesh is healthy? Diabetics you get if you are overweighted.. so eating less would help for sure.

I like your post very much to me. I hope this is always better post than ever.

I like Papaya ... Papaya je do jaja

Papaya is a multi valuable fruit many say it is even good for diabetic patient. Reduces obesity and full of vitamin, fibre, potassium and sodium. It can be a very good especially during lunch if you are in hurry simply have half or full papaya.

I love papaya! Now, I love it even more. Very nice informative post @cryptokraze.

Thank you for your wonderful post...I have many ideas now about papayas and it's health benefits @cryptokraze

Thank you for this article.
Now I know.
I will eat papaya almost everyday.
thanks

It makes me wonder if this is such a great fruit there are still so many people sick. So how much one need to eat daily to get well? I seldom see papaya in the place where I live. I doubt it will help against worms. 10 hours sleep a night, eating less and ananas will slim down as well and beta-carotene is in carrots as well. Papaya is very cheap where you live?

So much benefits.... It is ideal. Presently, I adore it much more. Exceptionally pleasant instructive post

good info. tqsm

Papaya is one of common fruit in Indonesia, high fibre and electrolite, thanks for sharing @cryptokraze

Interestingly, Papaya seeds maybe an effective natural birth control measure.

From The Tao Of Health, Sex, and Longevity:
For thousands of years, the young women of Polynesia have enjoyed complete and uninhibited sexual freedom prior to marriage, with no worries about unwanted pregnancy. Their secret is to eat a few handfuls of papaya seeds every day. The active ingredient responsible for their freedom from pregnancy is vitamin B17, more popularly known as laetrile, the controversial drug banned in the United States due to unproven claims that it can prevent and help cure cancer. (4571–4574)

From the queerly named book Herbal Abortion: the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge

If you made love with a man during your fertile time (for example, days 10–16 in a 28 day cycle), and you do not wish to be pregnant, here is what you do:
1. After unprotected intercourse on a potentially fertile day, begin eating 5–10 apricot kernels 3 times a day. Continue this until your period comes. This prevents implantation. (The same effect can be achieved with high levels of Vitamin C in this way. Use more than 10 grams per day.)

I discuss this further in a podcast

So much benefits.... It's a good thing I red this, thanks
