According to many studies, coconut has been declared one of the healthiest foods on earth. The benefits and uses of coconut are beyond the awareness of most people. Coconut oil is a real superfood made from dry coconut meat or walnut meat. Coconut has become a versatile food item and is used for everything from our daily diet to beauty regimen. Not so long ago, coconuts were blocked like an artery and foods containing cholesterol caused a bad reputation for heart disease.

Really like using coconut oil when cooking, it is very tasty (also coconut milk&cream are very goood). But many studies have said that it raises "bad" LDL cholesterol levels. So nowadays I try to use more extra virgin olive oil (even tough it is not as tasty...).

Coconut water is very tasty. Specially when it is green. In India subcontinent, there are various uses of coconut. Various types of cakes can be made from it. Nice post. Thanks.

I believe that Coconut is one of the best medicines nature can offer. In my family, we even regard it as a miracle fruit. I am a testament to its health wonders.

Every time I feel a slight pain in my bladder (although very very seldom), I immediately take 2 tablespoons of extra virgin coconut oil after eating, and in hours, the pain is gone. So for those who have UTIs or bladder pain, try taking VCO (better if extra VCO), or apple cider vinegar, whichever is more accesible to you.

I just adore coconut! it makes for a great snack

I didn’t know this. There is so many healthy food, but still we accomplish to eat badly.

You've provided us a very informative post. Coconut has many health benefits. I think you've missed the main point that coconut fights Bacteria. It contains high levels of monolaurin and lauric acid which helps to fight fungal infections and bacteria.
That's why we apply coconut water or oil in the hair, there are more bacteria found. By applying the oil, the acid content kills the bacteria. Hope you'll add it in future

I love this fruit. I know that it promotes brain health. In my locality, it is a common believe that the water inside coconut has the potency to neutralize medications.

I live in an island where coconuts are in abundance and my readings and studies have attested to these truths
