Dates are great for having healthy desserts. I am gonna give you a very simple, durable and healthy recipe that will make you forget about all other sweet things. Dates are also recommended by our beloved Prophet (pbuh), so it's a win-win situation :)

Ingredients
2 cups walnuts
¼ cup almonds
2 cups medjool dates
1 cup cacao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sea salt

  1. The first and most important thing to do with this recipe is soaking the dates real good. Give it at least an overnight. Put the dates in a bowl and soak it in purified water for at least 12 hours. (Optional: you might as well soak walnuts and almonds if you don't like them hard)

  2. After soaking the dates, put ALL the ingredients in a food processor until they meshed well. This may take a while and you might have to use a spoon to manually blend them beacuse some processors sticks the ingredients to the sides and it does not process after some time.

  3. If you give your processor enough time, you will have a dough which you can shape very easily. So use your hands and make yourself some powerballs!

  4. Enjoy your healhtiest dessert ever!

Gotta admit that I've honestly never eaten a date before.

But eaten WITH many dates of course... lol.
