Right now I am just eating almost once a day, one proper meal and maybe two very light meal which is just consisting of toast and thinned-out coffee.
As with the "proper meal" I am trying to eat as much as I can. What I am doing is to just wait until i am hungry, so hungry that I could feel my body going weak and with a tell-tale sign of a low blood pressure.
I have to do that so that I could at least enjoy my food a little. I am also taking my Cinacalcet, the drug for my hyperparathyroid and it causes me to suffer from nausea much more if I would only eat lightly which is why I have to wait until I am hungry so that I can eat heavily (relatively).
After my meal I will not get an urge to eat again plus the nausea really prevents me to get an appetite for food. So I would decline in having my supper but sometimes I would ask my mother to give me some toasted bun and some thin coffee so that I can put some calories in my body.
I am also taking my vitamin C with my meal, my phosphate binder so that my phosphorus level would not raise up. The I would also take my Calcium supplement plus my vitamin D which I do not take everyday. Along with my vitamins is my parathyroid medicine which I only take once a day because of its forbidding price.
So I do think that even though some dietitian advises me to eat multiple times per day I do think that it is not ideal in my case because it will just make me consume more phosphate binder as my phosphate binder has to be taken with meals. One factor is that many foods contains phosphate additives which is why i am really paranoid about foods now.
For the "sort of" intermittent fasting that I am doing I guess that it is working for me very well since I have an appetiteloss issue I really could not eat frequently. Eating with a very wide space in between causes me to at least build my appetite because of the hunger it causes to my body.
Mango is the best, I agree.
